IMMIGRANT EMPLOYMENT WEEK LAUNCH EVENT
Monday April 28th, 2014 10am - 12pm @ U of T Scarborough Campus Instructional Centre (IC) Building Atrium
Come join us in celebrating the skills, experiences and talents newcomers bring to the Canadian work force. This will be a city wide initiative, organized by the Employment, Education and Training Action Group. It will provide a unique forum for employers, businesses, service providers and newcomers to network and explore new perspectives on immigrant employment and leveraging immigrant talent. A series of events will be happening throughout the City of Toronto. Events will be hosted and coordinated by various community service agencies and organizations.
The Launch of IEW will be an enlightening event to kick off the week-long festivities. The event will begin with an informative and insightful panel discussion on "Building Businesses, Hiring Immigrants" - Welcoming an Under-tapped Employment Resource. The session will be led by highly professional panelists representing various sectors. Following the discussion will be interactive activities and an opportunity to network!
Please note:
Designated parking for the IEW Launch event will be located in Parking Lot P4 only. P4 is located at the entrance off of Military Trail at the intersection. Parking passes will be issued to validate parking.
